Hello every one. I need help my 06 STS started to roughly idle and shake while I was driving yesterday and the check engine light came on. Does anyone knows what may be the problem and how costly is the repair?

It seems there have been a lot of posts from new members lately with lack of info on the car yet requesting information on how to fix...

If it's a v8 check at the back of the engine and see if the vacuum hose has fallen off. This happened to mines last year, car idled like a monster but drove fine cel came on with two codes, can't remember them. But check that and if not check the codes and go from there.

Good call B1. That is the vacuum line for the brakes. So if that came off you should notice a significant reduction in stopping power as well.
