2006 STS interior lights do not go off and "passanger door open" show while driving?

I have check that interior lights are not on from dimmer button.
Where "door open" switch is located ?
one of those two Honeywell microswitches in door handle?
I can open door from inside and outside so lock work ok but car "think" that door is still open and keep lights on.

This car doesn't have switches like previous generation cars. All controls initiate signals on the car's network so that all modules that may be programmed to react to various actions can do so.

If you replac ed bulbs with LED's, the problem is likely that the dimmers work on pulsed voltages. Use higher quality LED replacements, i.e. those with a stable load using a resister or the like.

Thanks EChas3 but I do not have changed any bulbs, all are original. This morning interior lights went of but it still show "passanger door ajar" and after I stopped and opened door tilt do not rised as it should.
I assume that somewhere must be a switch/detector which "tell" to system that door is now open?

Door latch is electronic with mechanical latch and its how the car determines if the door is open or closed. Take a screw driver and use it to imitate the striker. You will see how the latch is supposed to "lock." Once you've made certain its latched (using the screw driver), set the ignition to run (by holding down accessory, no need to start it) and see if it still says passenger door ajar. If it does unless there is a broken wire in the door jam, I would start with a new latch assembly.

Think like the HOOD AJAR issue the 05-06 models had when the hood latch switch failed. Yes the hood was closed but the electronic element had failed and the car had no idea if it was truly shut.

BUT NOW i cant get lock actuator away!!! I have looked other threads and I have seen pictures how to remove but I have some plastic cover so that I cant see lock rod from outhandle. I tooked 2 nut away but cover goes allway up to outhandle.
Please help me what should I do to be able to remove lock ?? Tire Material property Auto part

Because I could not remove that plastic I Sprayed a lot oil from all directions and to all holes around lock. After 2 weeks it started to work so I assume that one of those "arms" was stuked and get loose with oil.
Not it works great.
PS: I bought from Alibaba one ot those readers for 300$ and it works great! with that I can test all buttons in door ( including lock actuator switches ). I feel that I made great investment.
