Have a low mileage 2006 SRX. Out of the blue at random, the engine just stalls while driving. Kind of dangerous for sure. Computer came back with a fuel pressure error, but what I thought is weird is that there is no Check Engine light or anything and it happens so randomly.

I read about another issue with this vehicle simply stalling because of transmission fluid issues and some sensor that will shut the engine down.

Just wanted to throw this out to cyberspace to see if anyone has seen/heard of anything similar and for some direction.

Thx!

I'd do some old school analysis and put a dial gauge on the fuel rail (you can borrow them from the auto stores- they attach with a Schrader valve).

I'm not familiar with ANY sensor in the transmission that can shut the engine off.
