Hey I have a 2006 Cadillac SRX awd and it runs and drives good but it has this annoying sound coming from dash, I’m assuming it’s coming from the climate controls. Anyone have a good idea to figure out which one it is and how hard is it to take apart?

What does it sound like - whirring, rattling, chirping, clicking, hissing ........ ??

Some of our cars have a cabin air temp sensor behind a little grille - uses a small muffin (computer) fan to move air over the sensor resistor - the fan bearing eventually dries out and squeals.

If you are getting a ratting or knocking sound after you power off the car, it may mean that there is insufficient refridgerant in the AC system - so no need to pull apart the dash.

If it's a subtle tick tick tick, I would suspect the blend door. If it's a constant sound much like a card in the spoke of a bicycle tire, I would suspect the blower motor. The latter is an easier fix.
