Here are the results which are SAE corrected (SAE is the std accepted calculation which adjusts for temp, elevation and humidity) 1st graph is for my 2006 Ls2 V and the 2nd one is another customers 2004 Ls6 v VS my 2006 Ls2 v. The only difference is that the 2004 has Corsa and CAI and my 2006 has only Corsa

What are the numbers???? These were done on the same dyno? CAI shouldnt be worth more than 2 or 3 rwhp with Corsa as the only other mod.

Yeah I am pretty happy with the results 91 octane fuel... the torque difference is the big difference between the ls2 and ls6 (20ft-lbs more for the Ls2) I figure if I had a CAI the number would be in the 340 range. Next will be adding CAI and tune for about 15 more hp (353 rwhp) Anyone know what the driveline deduct is for the CTS v 15% ..20% curious on gross hp based on these numbers

and the LS6 vs LS2 debate continues...

driveline reduction is about 17.5% from what i have read on here

CAI intake on my LS6 netted me 7whp -- 336hp-330tq on cheapo 91o midgrade that i hadn't had a chance to burn off before dyno day-- i doubt it will do much more for a LS2

imo, something is wrong with the LS6 car besides needing a tune, liquidvenoms stock 05 threw down 229hp/22xtq, a LS6 with CAI and Corsa should be putting down numbers well above the ones on that graph..

17.5 % loss for drivetrain would then put me at 410hp gross...right? Also how do you interpert the Air/fuel graph lean vs rich etc...I should have ran 93 octane instead of 91

i put down 331.03rwhp 324.44 rwtq


if i put down 229 i would have left the car there and walked home

My car car feels strong, but I dyno it two weeks ago and it put down a baseline of 311 hp. My air/fuel was 10.8:1. After my tune and turning off alot of crap it went up to 331 hp, with an A/F holding @ 12.5:1. Going into the dyno I was still expecting my untuned car to put down right around what it did tuned. I am starting to think looking at everyones A/F ratios Cadillac didn't think owners were going to use premuim fuel!

Dyno numbers are hard to compare unless they are on the same dyno. It was great when we had 12 Vs on the same dyno within 3 hours of eachother. We got a good idea of where the LS2/6 compared. I guess if you dont like TQ go with a LS6.

Some cars seem to get bad stock tunes. Was it Backdoc, who gained like 40rwhp with just a W4M tune?
@0rwhp gain with a tune isn't bad. Dynos are all different. Don't worry about the final numbers. The important number is how much you gained.

Looks like the LS6 crew's got jokes. I know you all are just jealous that I can change the radio station and volume from my steering wheel.

:thepan:lol, my bad i menat 329hp 32x tq, either way i was wrong

but based off of that means an Intakes are even more worthless.. 5hp and 4tq without a tune

That "beeeeep beeeeeep beeeeep beeeeeep beeeeeep" sound when you back up must get annoying.

I guess that's why they gave you the steering wheel volume controls.
