Hi Everyone, I just bought a 2006 dts performance and I love this car. the car has 82000 mi, black raven ext, gray interior. I own a 1996 eldo etc and replaced the spark plugs, very easy to do, My question is how does the engine cover come off? to expose the wires and spark plugs. is the procedure the same as the eldo as far as the removal of the plugs. is there any thing I should replace as normal maintanance Which spark plugs should I use. Thanks Tony

That engine has no plug wires. It uses 8 individual coils and connector towers. I believe it takes AC Delco #41-987 Platinum plugs, but check the owner's manual.

You could always look in RockAuto and see what the recommended plugs are ...........
