The plastic decorative engine cover just snaps on - it's held on by 2 rubber socket/round joints that simply hold by grip force. Carefully lift up on the front then the rear and it will come off. Your spark plugs however aren't that straightforward - each plug has its own individual spark coil and all the coils are mounted to a metal mounting plate so you have to disconnect the wires from the coils then remove the mounting plate to get each side off, coils and all. Not sure if you can do them one at a time or not, but I watched my mechanic do it a whole side at a time. Then you can get down to the plugs. The rear you also have to remove or loosen the secondary air valve to even get to the coil plate to remove them.

Can't help you with seat covers.

Synthetic oil is fine.
