I did some searching and forum reading, its pretty clear the 2005 model won't play mp3's off a disk. Does anyone with a 2006 CTS-V know if mp3's will play that I've burned to a disk? My initial assumption is no, but I'm still hopefully they made some tweaks and changes and it will work now for the 2006 CTS-V model year.

I don't believe a differnt radio unit was used in the 2006 so I would say not.

i believe the base radio in the cts was changed and it plays mp3's...
