On paper, maybe. However if the M5 can't even pair up to a V in performance and price, what would make us believe a basic 5 series would. To the few comparing the V to other cars, this will be one to include as well.
However as much as I keep reading the posts of potential buyers, the V has something special going on. The only manufacturer(s) even close to the V in comparison are the SRT-8's. Mostly because of price and performance. Let them finally decide to put in a manual tranny, and it's going to be a real grudge match in more areas than just quarter mile times. That would be the "Nemesis".
