So just hit 100k and decided to preventative change the timing chains. Do you think I should do cam phasers or can I get away without doing them. At 375$ each from dealer...I am really considering swaping a ls2. I have heard mixed reviews if yes and no. But none of them own a caddilac. And I prefer taking advice from folks that have one or dealt with them.

I haven't dealt with them, but I vote for the LS2 swap.
Lol yeah really want to. And I am not scared to do it. But wanted something different. Reason was looking at 7 series for supercharger. All the other 3.6 get more love than us. The pricing is about the same ish with me doing most work. Just hear it's hard to find interphase to get dash working correctly again. The motor swap straight forward. And I picked up an ls2 with trans for 500$ already. Was going to drop in a s10. But got the wild hair to put in my sts now.
