Just purchased this Manual on eBay delivered to your email in a PDF for $12.99. Has everything the garage mechanic could ever possibly need , looks equivalent to high cost factory service manual. I could read this for hours! Fantastic value that will likely answer at least 50% of the questions asked in the forum.

I finally got to it. Took over 5 minutes to open the ebay page and less than 2 to dnld the manual, I've never seen that on ebay before.

I just ordered the manual but have not yet downloaded it. Thank you for the link. I have had great experience from having the service manual for previous cars. Even if I don't do the work myself, I at least know what is involved so I can speak intelligently to the mechanic.

Great find! Is this the exact same or the equivalent of those 200-300$ service manuals? I ask because I am always really skeptical with the descriptions on EBay. I've been had a few times with counterfeit movies and "official" sport apparel. If it is legit I am pressing the Buy it Now button. Thanks for the heads up.

I bought one a few months ago. It's the real Cadillac manual. On several pages, mine says "courtesy of Cadillac Motor Div." or "copyright by Mitchell Manuals". Looks like Mitchell paid for the rights to put it into electronic media, but did somebody bootleg it? Who knows?
It works OK. Acrobat splits most of the pages, so that makes it a little unwieldly. The bookmarks and the search function work well.

Download the latest version of Adobe reader (on the sellers website) You will have a seamless viewing, no page splitting. RE Digital rights... I hope that it came directly from GM. They owe us all big time for the double tax burden of the cost of the bailout (we are getting about 50% back at best) and the multiple Toxic waste sites that the "old" GM left us the US tax payers with the clean up bill,(Buick city, Pontiac Assembly , Lansing craft center, 20+ Delphi sites...etc.) we get to pay the clean up bill...Ist that just dandy?

The new GM is soooo successful..Bull Crap! Sure when you factor the "correction" to GM's balance sheets for the give away money and the toxic clean up bill, both passed on to the taxpayers they become successful! They are probabily now more profitable than Toyota at our expense.

Ill take my $12.99 Complete (and I do mean COMPLETE) service manual as a partial tax payer rebate on the bail out fiasco!

And why I own a 2012 Ford . . but, my wife loves her DTS and it has performed well.

Your welcome! I owe a lot to the forum, helping me understand the DTS and solving some of the problems I have had so far. Our vehicles are out of production and we need every advantage we can get to keep them out of the dealerships. This manual will save you a fortune if you have the capability and tools.

I read about my oil filter adapter. I was looking at it when the tranny was out and it was on the lift. It looked as if I had some drippage coming from the o rings

Probably a dead link or no more manuals.

The DVD is $170 at www.helminc.com, you can sometimes find used hard copy manuals on eBay, or take out a multi-year subscription to the online GM/Cadillac manuals at www.alldatadiy.com.
