2005 XLR new tires

I purchased new tires. Same size, different make, I was told Michelin no longer makes the original tires.
The right rear tire rubs the wheel well when going over a dip in the road. None of the other tires rub, just the one.
I have gone to 2 dealerships, their first response you bought the wrong tires. Once they look it up in their system they agree the tires are correct.
They suggest different things that could be wrong, but they don't know for sure. Just authorize us to fix it, it could be 100 to 1500?
Any suggestions?
I have another problem will discuss that later.

Take it to a competent dealer or a shop that specializes in Covettes. An issue with the rear suspension (shock or transverse leaf spring) is a possibility.
