How hard is it to change the front motor mount on my 2005 Deville?
===========================
every time that question is asked -
the CORRECT answer is "IT ALL DEPENDS" -

it depends on your knowledge - skill level - tool collection - equipment - facility - etc -

a star mechanic -
with a fully-equipped shop -
who has done lots of them -
and nothing breaks during dis-assembly - or assembly -
can do one in 1 1/2 hours - or less -

attempting it on the floor - with only a tire jack is impossible -

Like Basscat said it depends on your skill level.

I've done the job twice in my home garage on the floor... body supported by jack stands... lowered cradle with a floor jack. Took about 2 hours the first time, 1.5 hours the second time. There are several how to threads on this board.

Unfortunately I think I'm stuck going to a garage. I don't think that I can do it as my driveway has a slight slope to it and trying to do it on my back with only about 1 to 1.5 feet of clearance. :( The place that diagnosed it said they could replace it for $268.00, is that a fair price?
