Hello all I have a 2005 base deville with 198K on it the front end has a growley rumble
and vibration too
it I have replace the wheel bearing with timkin bearings and rotated the tires
and it still has the noise

I think it still has the original axle shafts could they be worn out and making the noise
and vibration the shafts are dry on the outside and the boots are good

Thanks for any insight Brent

Does the noise change in volume or pitch with the speed of the car or engine?

engine speed does not seem to effect it but speed of the car seems too change the pitch
but moving the steering wheel will change the sound makes it quieter thats why I thought it was the
cheap wheel bearings I put on it

I thought you said you used Timken hubs -
if yes - bearings are not the problem -
