Guys,

I have to replace a light bulb for the rear license plate. I took a look at it yesterday and was not to sure on how to access it.

Is it only accessed by removing the interior trunk lid liner? Seems like a lot of work for a light bulb.

I tried to snap out the light fixture from the outside but got nervous about breaking it.

If the trunk liner has to come out what tool is used to remove the button clip pins without destroying them?

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, this is my wife's car with 47K miles. I won't be scoring any points if I screw it up.

did mine from the outside. Here is an excellent tutorial on bulb replacement. I recall that license plate lights are covered in it somewhere.
