So I am wanting to buy the factory cts navigation/dvd radio. I have the basic model right now and I was wondering am I going to run into any problems on instal, like not matching plugs or like it doesn’t line up flush and look factory. Thank you in advance for responding

The original head unit is programmed with THAT car's VIN and is part of the vehicle TheftLock, security, and serial data bus systems. Any new install must use the correct jumpers and connectors or the car goes into a security lockdown and disables fuel and ignition.

Talk to the guys at Crutchfield about what you want to do.

I bought a 07 CTS NAV/video unit used on eBay and the only problem I had was a faded screen, Which the seller replaced. I had the original AM/FM UNIT.
It works fine but it did state that it was unlocked.
Easy to install. Make sure they have a return policy. Can’t find a reasonably priced NAV DVD but I use Waze anyway.
