Would I be able to use complete floor shifter from 2006 cts both automatic and 3.6 engine... is transmission the same.. thank you in advance

Manual and automatic transmissions are completely different. Shifter different, linkage different. You can not mix any of it. What year/make/model is your car? What are you trying to accomplish? As AAIIIC said, we are missing quite a bit of info.
