Hey all. Looking to increase power on my 2005 cts. I was told I have the ly7 engine but I have had it swapped so not sure where on the engine I can look to see.

What do you mean you had it swapped? Do you mean the engine was replaced because something was wrong with the original engine? If so, unless you paid a shop big $$$ to do a custom install, then I'm sure the original LY7 was simply replaced with another LY7. If you post up some pics of your engine bay the members here can confirm if that's what you've got.
I have a stage 3 computer chip under the dash and a K&N intake under the hood right now.
The "stage 3 computer chip" is a stage 3 rip-off. You'd be better off removing it.
She quick but I want more. I think I can make my aluminum engine legit fast. I plan on replacing the cams and exhaust shortly but curious if anyone has other ideas.
The only option I've ever heard of is from Mace down in Australia/NZ -
https://www.maceengineering.com.au/...D&FacetRange_ListPrice=&FacetRange_ListPrice=. (Down there the LY7 was called the Alloytec.) Not cheap, and I don't know that I've ever seen anyone on the forum post about actually getting the cams. Another option would be to get some extra cams (
www.car-part.com) and send them to Delta Cam to be reground.
Exhaust isn't much better. Nobody makes headers for the LY7 in the CTS. There's been talk for years about using Camaro headers, but again I don't think I've ever seen anyone post that they've done it.
