Good question i have the same problem when i press auto it sounds as if the vents are blocked and no air heat comes out but when i press the fan speed and direction button control heat comes out like normal kinda weird whats the point of auto if it aint heating the car it can be 20 degrees out and dosent heat noting im better putting it on manual?

Been wondering its a little weird it sounds like the vents are blocked when on auto and open when i change the mode and fan speed which then lets air thru

Pull the DTC's. Sounds like you have an actuator problem.
