Am I able to hook up a battery tender to the 2 areas under the hood, or do I need to get under the seat to the battery directly? - car will be stored for the winter...thanks very much!

My STS has been a garage queen for years, on a battery tender. No problems, fresh battery, I use the underhood fuse box red lug and the top bolt on the strut mount. (The entire body is "ground'.)
