This is my first post so sorry if the question sounds incredibly dumb. I just purchased a 2004 Deville DHS and I can't figure out how to remove the top (with the caddy emblem) cover. Everything I read says remove two plastic screws then lift up and forward to clear the rear metal clip. Problem is, I can't find these two screws anywhere. Help. NEVER MIND. I FOUND THAT THERE ARE NO SCREWS ON THE 2004 DHS. ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS PULL UP ON THE COVER TO DISENGAGE THE CLIP-ON POSTS UNDER THE CENTER OF THE COVER.

OK - I see now - are the screws/nuts down behind the plastic radiator sight shield. If they are, that sure is a dumb engineering fault. The older models have 2 black 10mm nuts on the top front of the engine cover, and it's not that "wraparound" style.
