Hey guys so the other day my Seville’s main window switch got alittle wet when I had my windows down and it started to rain, put the windows up and thought nothing of it. The next day everything was fine, then yesterday all the sudden my drivers control will not put the rear driver side window down. The window works fine from the door itself, and my drivers switch will put it up fine but not down. Should I pull the main switch and maybe disconnect it and reconnect it to see or if anything do I most likely need a new master switch?

You're not the first with wet switch panels and iffy window operation. Luck of the draw: It will dry itself out and work correctly, you might need to remove and clean the switches with electronics spray, or worst case; new switch panel.

Start off with 5 minutes of warm setting hair dryer blower work.

STEP #1 - ALWAYS - check for DTC's - Diagnostic Trouble Codes -

the switch doesn't activate the windows - that would be WAY TOO EASY -
remember - this is a Cadillac

the switch signals the DDM - Driver Door Module -
the DDM activates the window motors -

Still not working from the drivers switch.. all windows operate normally expect rear driver side.. and it still goes up but does not go down
Same symptoms from your first post.

What have you done since then to troubleshoot the issue?

If the switch is bad or the contacts fouled, the problem likely won't go away with the passage of time.
