Hi!
I'm able to buy two front F55 2003 Seville STS struts.
Number of part 22187197.
Could You tell me if they fit my 2003 Caddy Seville STS?

Pictures in add.

Regards from Poland
Maciej

Hmmm....... This may be the answer - I have two new F55 struts in the shop - but they are "bare" - no bearings, mounts, springs, rubber bellows. #19300076. BUT the entire assembly, if available, might have the 2218797 number. Your pictures, minus the spring and mounts/bearings, look like my bare F55 struts.

Just for information - the name "DELPHI" on your strut picture - DELPHI is a huge parts manufacturer and supplier to GM. It is now a separate company but used to be part of the "AC Delco" umbrella. DELPHI and Lord Magnetorheological did the design and development work for the late 2002, 2003, and the 274 export 2004 STS vehicles. The system was then expanded for use in many GM models.

Here is the definition of the VIN characters. Our STS cars are "KY".

Thank You so much for Your answer!
It's a great news for me to find a pair of magneride struts in Poland for a good price.
Probably there are few owners of car like this here.
Have a nice day!

ALL late 2002, 3, and 4 STS (Seville Touring Sedan) had the F55 Magnetic Ride Control system.
F55 STS production -
2002 - 4528
2003 - 7775
2004 - 274 (all of which were Export models)
All FWD Seville production ceased in December of 2003.

So, there were only 12,577 F55 STS (Seville) built. A fair percentage of those are either crushed or in junkyards due to the high cost of maintenance and repair.

Interestingly, there were 381,544 Northstar FWD Sevilles built. Subtract the 12,577 F55 models and that shows that the F55 version is now relatively rare.

Be aware that many EURO contries use the date of first title/registration as the "model year". The true build date is on the driver's door sticker - and the Seville model year ran from about early July to June, so a "2003" could have been built from July, 2002 to June 2003.

My car was built in February 2002 so it's a LATE 2002.
