I have a 2003 Cadillac DeVille I believe the color is called Thunder grey does anybody know the paint code so that I may buy a bottle of touch up paint for it I've looked everywhere on the vehicle and I have no stickers that tell me the code it is the darker gray color not the light silver

Look on the RPO sticker under the spare tire cover. Paint codes can also be deciphered in www.paintscratch.com.
RPO ?? Regular Production Option. Those codes are everything that's built into THAT car. Google a 2003 Cadillac RPO list.

Most of the colors for 2003 Cadillac's are listed here ( http://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/cadillac/2003/all-models/ ). None of them are listed as Thunderbolt Gray (which doesn't really sound like a "Cadillac color" if you know what I mean LOL). For example, the sample chart Submariner409 displayed above is for a Red Tint Metallic (code 379E) Cadillac.

Where did the name thunderbolt grey come from? Maybe an error on some old paperwork? I would use the paint code from your RPO sticker as submariner stated. You should be able to view color samples. Unless the car has been repainted a non standard color the paint code will get you 100% correct touch up. I bought touch up for mine using the paint code.

Known to Cadillac as "Crimson Pearl Tri-coat" and to some paint blenders as Red Pearl Tricoat. That's my RPO sticker - 2002 SRS. Red "tint" ???
