replacing the batt in my 03 deville is there any thing i need to know other than yank it out and install new one??
i was thinking of hooking up a jumper pack under the hood at the jump points so i wont loose any preset info is this a good idea???

it must be the GROUP-79 battery -
I recommend the MAXX-79 from walmart -

you must re-use the vent assembly -

just be damn sure the POSITIVE battery cable doesn't touch ANYTHING
after you remove it from the battery -
REMEMBER - it will still be "live"

The only thing you should have to reset, assuming your driver memory buttons are set and the HU is on HOME presets, is the clock.

well i replaced the battery today and sure enough i lost my tire press sensors, it will only take me two or three weeks to reprogram them with a couple hundred tries , its funny cuz i only lost the left side sensors but not the right??

:hmm:

I find reprogramming them is easier when the weather is warm. Damned near impossible in the winter.
70 degrees today and i tried at least 20 times and only could get the front wheels to respond
