My wife has a 2003 cts. The build code says it has the fe3 suspension. This this hits hard and front driver is squeaky. It has 17in tires. Do i need to change anything like tire size or anything like that to put the fe1 soft ride suspension on. Ive already replaced all breaks rotors sway bar links and wheel hubs. And i think i mau have to do ball joints now do to how hard it hits. My 04 Silverado dont event hit as bad as this does.

No, you can put whatever wheels and tires you want on it. With that said, if you're concerned about ride quality, then going to 16" wheels with taller, softer sidewalls will help.
