Got a 2003 Cadillac CTS 3.2L
So Im driving and no shaking. Problem(slight shaking at the wheel) ONLY and I repeat only occurs when I’m cruising at or around 40-45mph and is also intermittent and does not occur every time. when I’m going threw town and sitting at a constant speed all assuden I will get a nasty shake that feels like it’s from the rear?. But as soon as I surpass 40-45 it will go away. Same as when I release the gas, and go below specified mph..Any ideas?

check your propeller shaft center-bearing or coupling at transmission side or diff side
any wear means most likely it's the problem
NO.3 is coupling and NO.11 is center-bearing

Another possibility is tire balance. I had an annoying steering wheel vibration around 50-55 that wouldnt go away after numerous visits to the tire shop. Rotating the tires moved the vibration to the rear which narrowed it down to the wheels. Finally went elsewhere for a road force balance and the vibration went away.
