I'm new excuse me if I'm repeating,BUT STUMPED!!! I have owned my O2 escalade since new. It went to shop for winter and had tranny, differentials, axles, complete tune up, plugs wires etc even clean new stock fog lights on it. It looks new. Has 100,000 miles. Synthetic since in service
I used to get 18-19 hwy mpg and 14.5 combined and 11.9 city. (Originally 22 highway w/ac pulling 4,000 pound wold ridge jet boat and 4 place snomobile trailer'but found out rattle was cracked catalytic converter, replaced and dropped to afoementioned prior to current poor which included using remote start. For 20 minute warm ups at work) After replacing worn suspension parts, and giving it a $5,000 front to rear spa treatment my mpg has dropped to 16 hwy (using purple, chevron premium and everykind of injector cleaning additive I continue with poor mpg, tires were rebalanced, wheels rotated. But mpg is 16/11.9 combined and 9.9 at best. I no longer use remote start beyond 2 minutes...I am feathering pedal to see if I can get any better mpg but no luck. Water pump only other thing besides fuel filter O2 and more replaced. With such a complete top to bottom service not sure where to start. Idle Rpms are good, wires correct. oil pressure fine, even increased air pressure and replaced fuel pump just because it was noisy and had let fuel drop below 1/4 tank 5 times to low miles warning. Tried octane boost, outside temp is 50 degrees. I used to get better mileage towing boat and snowmobile. Had them replace diff fluids and even a worn gear. It's a stubborn principle thing now!! Same 20 inch wheels no cargo, no toys AND lost 125 pounds of ex wife as pass weight. Any suggestions, oil consumption is good, temps fine. Only thing broken is lumbar pump and cd changer..any suggestions besides pulling the computer screen so I don't have to look? Even non computer calcination come out same...better plugs???? I'm driving my Tarus I'm so ticked off.

I have to ask have you replaced the fan clutch?

I am suffering the same drop in mpg(believe I know it's not fun) and lately noticed my engine temp would dip below normal plus I hear a moaning noise from the front(no matter what gear)

I have a appointment booked for Tuesday to have the fan clutch replaced so I hope it helps
