2001 STS Side View Mirror

Do all seville's have heated mirrors and dimming capabilities? My side mirror is foggy-can barely see out of it. Does the ones on rock auto come with the backing plate? What controls the heat? The dimmer? Most mirror glass looks to be just glass. Thanks for any responses-your knowledge is always appreciated.

Yes, they are all heated and the drivers side is electrochromatic (auto dimming).
If it is foggy, the seal is leaking and the mirror needs to be replaced.
The heat is controlled by the rear defroster switch and is activated when rear defrost is commanded on.
They all have a backing plate with the heat grid in it.
