Hi, my first question, thanks for having me here.

This V8 motor that I'm working on, trying to troubleshoot this misfire on #2, sits sideways in the compartment. Can someone tell me where #2 is? I'm clueless on the layout of this engine.

anything is possible - but it would be rare -

most common cause for a misfire is from faulty ignition -

pull and inspect the plug -
if fouled -
inspect the boot for carbon tracking -

a failed ignition cassette is not uncommon -
