Depending on your driving habits (all city, slowly) and if you overfill the oil (past the halfway mark on the dipstick), the engine can consume as much as a quart of oil in 600 miles. Some members get 1,500 miles, some get 3,000, some 4,500; depends on the engine, the driver, and the usage.
