I am having the following issues:

o The DIC gives out random "warnings"......"low fuel", "check tire
pressure", "transmission hot at idle", etc. These are false in that the
fuel tank is full....the tires are at correct pressure, etc.

o The fuel gage will sometimes drop to "E", even though the tank is full.
It will then reset itself to the correct position without input from me.

o The tire pressure readout will vanish from the DIC messages.......that
is, when I scroll through the regular DIC messages, there is nothing
regarding the pressure in the 4 tires. Next time through it might be there.

o The instrument lights go to the "dim" mode on their own.......and without
the exterior lighting changing. If I turn the rheostat down to full low, and
then back up to high, the lights will come back up as well............but
then can go back to dim without my doing anything.

Anyone else having these problems....??
Any idea on what the problem is ??
Seems like a computer/chip issue to me ??

Thanks !!

Jim

Call the Dealership. They might help you understand if these are important or not. Mine helps me all the time. Just clear out the codes and see if they come back or not. Sometimes i have the door module thing on mine but it is just a lack of fast communication between computers. That is what the dealership told me.

wow, thanks for getting back to me so damn fast. i am still looking into this issue on the site, and i think i might try disconnecting the bat for the night and then clearing codes when i hook it back up in the morning. the other thing is that all of the codes were in history. id have to dbl check to see if any are current. i just now drove the car and the entire instrument panel was dead. no guages, no lights, no DIC. the ebrake stayed on, too...
