So, I finally pulled all the codes stored in 2001 today. I know for a fact we have a problem with the rear HVAC system, balance between the drivers/pass side temp, rear lumbar and front drivers seat heating.

Below are the codes I pulled from the Caddy. can anyone shed light on what these are potentially pointing to?

B0159
B0164
B0174
B0179
B0184
B0189
B0429 (current)
B0510
B0515
B0520
B1004
B2556
B2641
B2646

Can't tell you anything without the definitions. There's a link to code definitions within the sticky thread on how to pull codes.

That many random/unusual/history codes indicate low voltage.
That many random/unusual/history codes indicate low voltage.
Thanks. Would this be caused by battery disconnect or something else?
It's possible. After having a battery replaced under warranty I had a shit load of codes. Clear 'em and see what (if any) return, assuming of coarse that your battery is in good condition.

Thanks Ranger. I know for a fact the 0429 code is legit...my rear temp controls don't do anything....so I am sure that needs to be replaced. The next item I am trying to tackle is the module that controls air temp in front between drivers and passengers. I don't use the auto mode much at all, but with both the pass and drivers either all the way hot/cold, there is a big difference in temps between each side. It seems to take forever for either to get cold with AC. I didn't see any codes pointing to a module....any idea which one it might be given the symptoms. It would be great to have a flow diagram to help pinpoint these items based on symptoms.

look at all the AC related codes you posted -

Outside Air Temperature Sensor -
Passenger Compartment Temperature Sensor #1 -
Output Air Temperature Sensor #1 -
Output Air Temperature Sensor #2 -
Solar Load Sensor #1 -
Solar Load Sensor #2 -
RH Panel Discharge Temp Sensor Failure -
RH Heater Discharge Temp Sensor Failure -
Rear Discharge Temp Sensor Failure -

your climate control system is completely confused -

it doesn't know the outside temp -

it doesn't know the cabin temp -

it can't detect the duct temps -

I'm surprised it even blows air -

-----------------------

if all these codes are "current" -
I would start looking for a faulty ground under the dash -

if all these codes are not current -

clear all the codes - and see what codes return -

I believe all those codes were history codes. He only noted b0429 as current.
Question ? ? ?, what if they don't go away, I have mostly all of those codes and some, I saw that you mentioned low voltage, would a bad alternator cause the type of electrical miscommunication as well? Or would This be directly related to a BCM issue ? ? ?
I could really use some help this has been a continuous thorn for about a month now!!!
