2001 2002 STS FE3 Suspension Downgrade

I have a 2001/ 02 model year with FE3 sports suspension which i find real harsh.
what components could I change to get it closer to my FE1 softride in 99 STS?
this is RPO F45 CCVRS not magnaride.

Are you running the stock tire/wheel combination with 30-32 psi as recommended? The OEM setup should give you a Cadillac ride until you push the envelope. Other combinations may well turn your car into an old Morgan recall....

HI, The wheels are OEM 17x7.5 supplied from new. The tires are Bridgestone Turanzas on the rear and Pirelli P6000 on the front running at 30psi.

Would the Parameters in the suspension module need to be reprogrammed If mechanical parts such as swaybars/springs were changed?
 Programming PCM operation for suspension changes is way out of my league. I would hazard a guess that changing spring stiffness/rates and sway bar diameter could well have an effect on everyday ride control and perceived comfort.
