I have a 2000 Escalade and its lowered with 255/50 r20 tires. The truck also has 4x4 but tires on it now are highway tires. I would like to take my kids up to the snow but not sure if chains are going to work being its lowered. I'm in cali. Any suggestions, thanks in advance.

If it's lowered it's not a good idea to put on snow chains. The lower it is the less clearance, the higher the chance of your snow chains scraping the wheel wheel. Can you please take a picture of the tires?

It might work but it may scrape the side on the right. It's cutting it pretty close but I'm not 100% sure.

honestly buy some good all terrain tires or mud tires just know that your in for a pricey tire to fit wheels and wheel wells having clearance. But or just go buy original wheels and put good ass snow tires on them and your set! Then when you get home swap them out for what you have now. Problem solved and probably easiest solution.
