I have a 2000 deville dts and lately when i push on the accelerator i hear a kind of winding noise it almost sounds like i can hear my tires rotating on the ground, it goes up and down as the car accelarates and decelarates, it almost sounds like it is coming from the lefthand front of the car anybody have any suggestions i dont have a clue thanks!

If it sounds like it's coming from the left side of the car, take it through some left-hand turns at a decent rate of speed (don't flip it over, crash it into a tree or otherwise cause harm to it). By making hard left-hand turns, you will be unloading the left front wheel bearing. If the noise goes away when you do this then your problem is the wheel bearing/hub assembly. It's a common problem. The auto parts stores get about $200 for a new one. If you're reasonably handy you can replace it yourself.
