2000 deville, safe to switch 5w-30 to 10w-30?

I was wondering if its safe to switch from 5w-30 to 10w-30 without any problems?

I was using 5w-30 Mobil 1 extended performance, but they have been sold out for the past month in my area and only carry 10w-30 version.

Sure it's safe. That's all I run in mine.
