The Cadi delaership just put a brand new $200 battery in it. Most of the time it starts right up, sometimes it takes a few times to turn over and just today it died but started back up after a few turns? What could it be? Alternator???
This search feature sucks. CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensors will cause a stall. GM had a bad supplier from 2000 to early '03. It may set a DTC, but not always. If yours are original, that may be the problem. There are 2 (A & B) mounted above the oil filter adapter which will need to be removed. If you change them, change both.
My Brougham does the same thing but that is because it is crappy throttle body injection and I am to lazy to clean it. Ranger is correct on this one and his advice should not be taken lightly.
