Hi- Bought a used 2k Deville DHS last November w/33k miles. Since then, I have driven 24k miles, (54k miles now). Since purchase, dealer has put on 2 sets of front pads(rotors once) and today indicates it needs new rears. How often should I be going through brakes (fronts/rears) Does something sound awry with the car or the dealer? P.S. I dont' ride my brakes, but do tend to stop short. Thanks

Two sets of brakes in 24K is excessive not matter how and where you drive. Something does not seem right. Maybe the caliper pins are rusty or dried out and the dealer is not checking them, thus a brake caliper not releasing and dragging.
