I’ve designed two front Splitter designs for my own V and have been selling them by word of mouth/ebay – keeping it low key (since its just a hobby for me).

As such, I’m now letting you V forum users know that I’ve found a supplier who can make these in small lots, and with great quality. So I now have both versions in various finishes in stock. One (Chin Splitter) blends the gap in the center front and uses the stock side splitters, and another (Full Splitter) comes with my own Wing Splitters to make a 3 piece design with a more aggressive track like appearance (which also makes some additional down force).

I’ve made a site to show and sell if any of you are interested: V2VDesigns.net

Note all profits will just go back into more mods for my own V! I have to keep those nice German cars behind me on track you know (still can’t get some of those fast Porsches)!

Check out the web site or the Authorized Vendors Classified.

Thanks!

very cool design. personally i respect and appreciate what you are doing. making a solid product for the enjoyment of doing it for yourself and sharing it with others at a VERY reasonable price. as soon as i destroy my stock splitter trim, i will be very interested in one of your splitters.

well done!

Thanks. Yes this is a combination of Bespoke, Community, and some Extended Design fun by sharing some of my ideas. Not about competing or a startup; just dabbling and see what comes. That said, I'll try to not leave any customer hanging. If I make a little money fine. I'll just end up spending it with all the other V vendors for "more V fun"!

I should say my design approach was to first fill the front gap, and second to design a splitter that is like what you see on ALM/Rolex/Continental tire etc cars; except with a little more style and restraint. The 3 piece design works with existing lines, provides a little uniqueness and keeps costs down. Its also easier to ship! No rocket science.

Just showed that to the wife and she loves it! Not right away though; we just bought 2nd row VIP seats to see The Who. That's our Christmas!
Who? Sorry, couldn't resist. Some of us still know them! Enjoy! :)
