So my friend has 2 10" subs on one amp and he wants to add a 15 on a differant amp, but there's only 1 RCA output from his CD deck. Can he split the RCA and still have both amps pushing full power?

Yes, the pre- outs on the head unit only carry music they don't push any power. The amps derrive their power from your charging system and convert the signal. Don't cut or splice the signal cable, buy a splitter that attatches directly to the head unit and run a second line. Or if one of the amps has an output jack you can run a short cable from its outputs to the others input (bridging). Minimal sound quality will be lost in either method but unless your competing, don't worry.

Thanks. That's what I thought but I thought I'd ask to make sure. And yeah when I said split I did mean using a splitter from radio shack or somewhere.
