I am doing the 2.55 upper pulley swap soon and am unsure if the P valve needs to be capped or not? I have tried the search function but seems to be unclear. Some say do it, some say they have the above mod and show over 12PSI on the dyno without capping it. If the factory bleed off is set at 12 how can you show over 12 on the dyno? Sorry, I know this topic has been done, just wondering if there is any new relevant info, bad or good. To cap or not to cap? Thanks.

Good question from my research it looks like people have done the pulley, NOT capped anything and still got ~12 lbs/boost
Ill let you know in a few days the answer :)

I've read the ............dozens of threads, and I also don't think it's needed.

Thanks guys. I did read alot of the threads and it just didnt seem that there was a definitive answer on the subject. Anybody know why guys are showing over 12 pounds of boost if its supposed to be capped at 12 as a fail safe?
