1/4 mph 1/8th 60 R/T
13.61 107.6 9.002 2.31 .074
13.62 107.42 9.017 2.33 .076
13.68 106.32 9.018 2.25 .058
13.69 107.36 9.076 2.36 .091

Never launched it hard 1500 rpm small amount of wheel hop (no TC). I think I could probably launch a little harder and max a little more on shift revs. Those 60's suck, but it is a V... Also had a few missed 3rd gear shifts that are not recorded in above runs... the above runs are all with decent shifts (no power shifts) All and all ...not a bad 1st attempt for a stock my stock V...I like my low R/T's. not bad for an old guy who has not raced in 30 yrs... the rest will come...

Nice times. the 60 foot time's are a killer for sure. With our cars though you just really have to appreciate the traps more than anything. When I was at raceway park, my times were in your same range. Didn't help that my first race ever at a track I had to go side by side with a blown Viper :crying2:. But anyway, now that I have my new diff I'm almost afraid to go back and try again. Last thing I want is a blown diff :helpless:

My 13.61 was against a camaro that ran 10.4 at 128 mph
Two of the other runs were against a 65 coronet 383 with a 130 nitrous shot, open headers, slicks.. he ran 13.89 and 13.64..I beat him once on time and once at the finish by .350 when he ran 13.64 to my 13.68

I want to do it at least once while I'm under warranty.

Would be to afraid to do it after that for reasons stated above...

What RPM did you launch car at? I launched mine at 3k with no wheel spin/hop and had a 60ft time of 1.8-1.9 can't remember, but it was under 2.0sec, ran a 13.3 at 110mph. All I had at the time was a Kooks, Corsa, CAI and stock tires at 32psi.

I launched around 1500-1700 rpm...you did a 3000 rpm hard launch...no wheel hop??? anyone else launch that hard?.. I have only corsa exhaust stock air, no headers and 1/2 worn stock tires at 33 psi

I have also KARS and BMR pinon brkt, no wheel hop. I did launched it at 3500 rpms, and I could not get any traction off the line with the stock tires. When I launched it at 1500-1700 or close to idle, I ran about the same time you had 13.5-.6sec with the crappy 60ft times.

I would think KARS and BMR would be needed for any high rpm launch over lets say 2000 to 2500 rpms?

The key is to fix your wheel hop (if you have it), then you can launch it at any RPM and not worry about your diff, well maybe alittle. Any wheel hop is bad for the rear driveline system.

I forgot my DA (density altitude correction) for the 13.61 run adjusted would be 13.59...

you guys need to cure the wheel hop with the dss axles and i'm sure the 1/4 times will fall because you can put the power down and not be afraid to break anything due to hop

but very nice runs.

Thanks...How much for the dss and how does it change the car in regards to handling ( must give up some), ride, noise? I will also be road racing..can't wait to see how those f2s perform

the car will handle just te same, but when its time to apply the power down either when leaving a turn or launching from a stop it will apply the power with out the car hopping and skipping on the road surface.
