I just started to notice that while driving sometimes the steering wheel is off center by about 15-20 degrees to the right and then after making a turn or two and driving in a straight line it is centered and level again. There are no sounds or vibrations. anyone have any information as to what is occurring? Is it electrical or mechanical? what would be a ball park estimate to correct the steering so that it is centered all the time while driving? thanks for any advice

That diagnosis should be performed by a good local Mom & Pop shop. It can be anything from a loose tie rod end to seriously failing main suspension components. Suspension/steering problems are not the sort of things you throw parts at.............

Welcome to CF !!! Please update your profile to show car (s) driven, approximate location, other info. It sure helps to know at a glance what we're working on.

Is it electrical or mechanical?
the problem is obviously mechanical -

IMMEDIATELY have the car inspected - your life MIGHT depend on it -

the first thing that comes to mind is broken mounts at the steering rack -
NOT a uncommon problem - and VERY DANGEROUS -
