What is the degree of difficulty for replacement of the 2 upper motor mounts that look like dog bones. they appear to be simply bolted in. is it possible to just unbolt and replace them one at a time or is replacing them a bit more complicated? thanks

Yup, just unbolt them.
Either one at a time, or both at once.

Technically, those are torque struts and are the reason that your car and other earlier models (plus later Eldorado) with them do not have the high degree of lower front center motor mount failures - costly and a labor PITA.

Be glad you have them.
