Recently I just fixed a po300 code with all new plugs, wires, coils and ignition module. Car runs great. But at red lights and anytime at idle it sputters and then stalls not at every red light but it will crank right back up so far. Only codes I have now is a b2711 but that's because it needs a new key switch. Anybody know what's going on ? Thanks

Throttle Body. Get a can of TB cleaner and a couple rags maybe a tooth brush. Don't get carried away with spraying cleaner into the manifold. Doesn't take that much and once you clean it good the next time will be super easy to do.

What's a TB ?
At the top of this forum's main threads page - the sticky post "Acronyms". Hang around here much and you'll need it several times a day.

How-to in Tech Tips. Google "cadillac forums 1998 northstar throttlebody cleaning".

I cleaned everything I could get to in there. And no I haven't checked for vacuum leaks

I cleaned it the same way it was shown in the thread.

Did you use AC Delco spark plugs and wires when you replaced the old ones?
