You will also need to pop out the window switch mechanism by inserting a small flat blade screwdriver between the switch plate and the arm rest. There is a catch that needs to be released there. There are some mounting screws accessible from under this escutcheon. Then you need to remove the marker clearance lights from underneath the arm rest. These are removed in a similar matter as the switch plate. There are mounting screws behind these lights also. Once all of these are removed, The panel is then held on with plastic clips around the perimeter of the panel. These pry out. If you do not have a panel clip tool, A long thin set of needle nose pliers will work on these. Just slide the pliers between the door panel and the door around each of the clips and slowly twist the pliers back and forth until they disconnect from the door frame. The top of the panel is held on with a long track at the top. Lift the panel up to release from this track. There will be a few wires you will need to disconnect to remove the panel completely.

The speakers you have are Delco Bose speakers with a built in amplifier. If you are trying to repair these they take a special speaker with a low impedence. If you use regular 8 ohm speakers, The volume will be quite low.

Are you sure the speaker is indeed bad? Sometimes the power supply to the amps goes dead and causes the speakers to quit. The amplifiers can also fail.

To remove the speaker assemblies from the door, Make sure the window is all the way up. (The window fits into the speaker housing when the window is fully down) The speaker is then held in place with 6 or more screws around the perimeter of the housing. Be careful though as the mounting flange is fragile and can be easily cracked.
