Let me start off by saying I have been reading for a while now and I am quite impressed with the knowledge that is available on this forum. Thank you to anyone that posted something that has helped me in the past.

I have a few questions I hope someone can answer.

First of all I am looking for a front transmission mount bracket. Cadillac has discontinues the part and I am in need. Any help would be appreciaed.

Also last night the car started acting up. The service vehicle soon light came on and the electrical was doing all sorts of odd things. Flashing dash lights... dimming interior and head lights ( but only slightly ) things like that. AC and Radio were working fine. I got home and ran a diagnostic and I got an error code E.16 (Improper volatge) OK I just put an alternator in the car like 3 weeks ago and it is NEW not a rebuild so I checked all the connections and I pulled the battery to charge. This battery is shot so off to the store for a new power plant. So far new battery seems to be working fine however. In the course of trying to figure out what was wrong I discovered the aforementioned bracket that I need and also I found that I get a rhythmic engine stutter at high RPM in park. The only other problems I could find is a vacume pump (electric) near the battery witha broken hose. I have no idea where this hose goes to or what it is for but the pump continues to run after the car is shut off. I don't think the pump is bad because it sounds fine but I can't figure out where this hose goes.

Current diagnostic readings after new batt is E52 (reset) nothing else from what I can tell

Thanks in advance for any assistence.

I kinda figured I would need to hit a salvage yard. Not snow just mud....

I think the voltage problem was the battery for sure. That issue has not resurfaced since the battery change.

My only real concern is the rough idle and occasional stalling. I plan on a complete tune up tommorow. Plugs wires cap rotor the works. Just had the oil and transmission fluid changed. So wish me luck

Thanks again
