My radio slowly started giving me problems turning on over the past few months until finally it does not turn on at all. Is this a common problem? Can it be fixed? It is the (Symphony Sound system).
1989 Sedan Deville radio stopped working. common problem?

Hello...
This also happened to the stock radio in my 1989 Fleetwood.
The problem lies in the "On/Off" button where it does not make contact.
I was able to move the button around while pushing in and out, and the radio turned on.
I leave it in the "On" position and just turn the volume down.
This has worked for me.

That is what I have been doing for about 6 months until that finally stopped working as well. Thanks for the reply.
