I am new not only to this site but also to Cadillac's.
I have purchased a 88 coupe for $500 and am considering some modifications.
My first question is, do any of the sedans have a door that will
fit the coupe without modifications. I realise the door is shorter front to back
and that is what I am looking for.

I'm sorry to say, but no, none of the sedans have a door that'll fit on the Coupes.

Thanks. My hope was to go the "Mirage" route but I couldn't quite get the proportions right on paper with the length of the existing door on the coupe. I have seen pictures of many 1970 to 1976 conversions with just the rear window moved forward under the roof but was trying for something different.
I guess my options will be modify a sedan door or live with the longer roof line.
